David & Leah
Owner / Office Manager
David started working in the tree industry in 2010 after graduating from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. As a young college graduate, he was on the hunt for a job but his searches left him in a rut. One day he stumbled across a Craigslist ad for a groundsman position and decided to give it a shot. Little did he know, this would be the start to a lifelong career as an arborist and small business owner. David enjoyed being able to work outside and help customer’s beautify their homes with well manicured trees. After a few months, Dave became a partner with a well established Lincoln company. He quickly grew it to be one the Lincoln’s largest tree services and became a leader in the market.
After three years of driving from Omaha to Lincoln, David decided it was time to start his own business back in Omaha. Born and raised in Northwest Omaha, he knew he wanted to serve his hometown and this was the start of Tree Services of Omaha.
Starting a new business is no easy feat, especially in a booming industry. David always prided himself on customer service and knew that would be of utmost importance for his business. His longtime college girlfriend and now wife, decided to join forces and help grow the business. Leah had a background in sales and business development and has allowed Tree Services of Omaha to grow since she came on board in 2016. Leah is a woman of many trades, from answering the phone, working as a groundsman and everything in between. She helps wherever needed to ensure the jobs go smoothly and that our customers are happy with the completed work. Together, they strive to provide a great customer experience.
David currently holds an arborist license for the City of Omaha and is the sole-proprietor of Tree Services of Omaha. David is an active member of the Arbor Day Foundation, National Arborist Association, and National Wildlife Association. When David and Leah are not working, they enjoy traveling, fishing, and working out.
